Nutrition & Culinary Services Director Job Summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition & Culinary Services Director to lead our team in delivering high-quality customer meals and dining services. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the Nutrition & Culinary Services staff and program to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee meal preparation and service, ensuring menus are attractive, nutritious, and palatable, with a focus on customer requests and satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication systems with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead the Nutrition & Culinary Services team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the site leadership team to develop and implement strategies for achieving short- and long-term operational goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures related to food safety, nutrition, and customer service.
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in or a graduate of a dietary manager course with current state certification.
  • Three to five years' leadership experience in food service, with demonstrated competencies in food service management, quality management, staff development, cooking, clinical nutrition for the elderly, and community outreach.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
