Job Title: SR1 Marketing and Fundraising Strategist

SR1 is seeking a dedicated Marketing and Fundraising Strategist to enhance economic mobility in rural Mississippi. This vital role targets the unique challenges faced by rural communities, promoting equitable access to quality education, healthcare, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and fundraising strategies in line with the organization's objectives, focusing on community equity and rural development.
  • Craft and manage innovative marketing campaigns across various channels, with a focus on digital, print, and social media, to effectively convey our mission and engage potential donors and partners.
  • Organize and manage fundraising campaigns and events, ensuring clear objectives are set and met.
  • Act as the primary liaison for marketing and fundraising inquiries, cultivating robust relationships with teams, partners, and the community.
  • Formulate and administer budgets for marketing and fundraising activities, guaranteeing efficient resource use and maximum return on investment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in marketing and fundraising, ideally within a non-profit or similar setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in steering cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in digital marketing, CRM software, and data analysis.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive starting salary of $55,000 annually, with potential increases based on performance, results, and contributions to funding initiatives.
