Job Overview

The Raw Materials Associate plays a crucial role in the production process at Marucci Sports, LLC. This position involves handling materials that may weigh up to forty pounds, with most items being lighter. You will utilize carts and manual pallet handling tools to move products and materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weigh and assess wood blanks for high-quality baseball bat production.
  • Prepare, categorize, and organize bats for subsequent production phases.
  • Identify various types of wood accurately.
  • Operate necessary machinery and equipment, including but not limited to mitre saws, pallet jacks, and routing tables.
  • Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and occasionally demanding environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of production equipment or the capacity to learn quickly.
  • Flexibility and adaptability with proficient multitasking skills.
  • Utilize knowledge and skills to accomplish tasks within your designated area.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required.
  • Forklift operation experience is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of standing, tool usage, and repetitive motions involving frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
