Position Overview:
The Advanced Analytics Specialist plays a crucial role in interpreting and delivering insights for various stakeholders within the organization, particularly in the realms of Business Units and Research & Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with R&D and Business Unit personnel to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with global teams to achieve targeted project outcomes.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of company products and market dynamics.

Core Activities:
  • Conduct data acquisition, management, and statistical analysis to support business operations and R&D initiatives.
  • Work alongside research scientists and engineers to leverage advanced analytical tools for problem-solving and process optimization.
  • Introduce innovative data analysis and modeling techniques to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead and manage strategic projects that have a significant impact across the organization.
  • Prepare technical documentation and research proposals to communicate findings effectively.
  • Design and maintain databases and analytical tools to support R&D efforts.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with various departments to promote data analytics and technology transfer.
  • Build a robust professional network with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represent the R&D Systems Research team at various organizational levels.
  • Present research findings at industry conferences and engage in professional organizations.
  • Understand and align with business priorities and product applications.
  • Actively contribute to safety initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, or a Master's degree with equivalent experience.
  • Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics.
  • Experience in data mining and information retrieval.
  • Proficiency in analytical software (e.g., R, SAS, Minitab, Matlab).
  • Skilled in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
