We are actively seeking talented individuals to join our expanding team as a dedicated Information Security Specialist with a strong background in cybersecurity.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions for a diverse range of clients globally. The position will initially be fully remote, transitioning to a hybrid model requiring occasional onsite presence.

The Security Specialist will provide expert guidance, analysis, and auditing services to product development teams focusing on Automation Cybersecurity. You will play a pivotal role in the advancement of our automation cybersecurity initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in at least two of the following domains: software engineering, network architecture, or product development.
  • Proficiency in developing software with security as a core principle.
  • Experience in creating security threat models for various products or systems.
  • Understanding of security vulnerabilities and strategies to mitigate them.
  • Familiarity with secure development lifecycle practices.
  • Knowledge of security concepts including identification, authentication, encryption, and secure boot.
  • Exposure to IEC 62443 standards is advantageous.
  • Understanding of networking and communication protocols.
  • Experience in penetration testing or related security assessments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Security Specialist will be tasked with delivering Automation System Cybersecurity services.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in training to enhance your cybersecurity skills as required.
  • Reviewing and analyzing IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
  • Engaging with development teams to assess software processes and recommend improvements.
  • Educating teams on cybersecurity development requirements.
  • Evaluating hardware/software designs to ensure they meet security specifications.
  • Conducting audits of completed projects to verify compliance with cybersecurity standards.
  • Assessing security testing on products and systems.
  • Presenting at technical conferences and supporting business development efforts as needed.
  • Preparing proposals and budgets when necessary.
  • Traveling within the US and occasionally internationally for client interactions.
  • Creating informative content such as white papers, blogs, and training materials on cybersecurity topics.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move objects of varying weights safely.
  • Capability to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in diverse environmental conditions.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as IEC, CISM, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent experience are preferred.
