Position OverviewAs a New Graduate Registered Nurse, you'll have the opportunity to provide professional nursing care through Transition to Practice, clinical assessments, outcome identification, planning, and implementation, all while adhering to SRHS policies and procedures.
Unit DescriptionJoin us at 5 Main, a 36-bed stepdown intermediate care unit, where the magic happens. Specializing in vascular surgery, telemetry, and stroke care, we're part of the esteemed Cardiovascular Division at Spartanburg Medical Center (SMC).
What We DoWe tackle a wide range of vascular surgeries, from aortic aneurysm repair to carotid endarterectomy, femoral bypass surgeries, and amputations. We take pride in being the secondary stroke unit at SMC, and all our nurses are NIHSS certified, a certification we'll help you obtain during orientation.
Our TeamOur warm and proficient individuals will welcome you, supporting your growth and evolution as a registered nurse. 5 Main is a place of collaboration, led by our exceptional Nurse Manager with 19 years of experience solely on this unit.
