- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-ups, accurate and timely quotations, and ongoing account support. Proactively address client needs.
- Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities by networking, partnering, and planning for potential clients.
- Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze key metrics to ensure sales targets are met. Record and document sales activity promptly and accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members, mentor staff, share expertise, and participate in both formal and informal meetings.
- Renewal and Retention: Assist clients with the renewal process and work to maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry developments, new products, legislation, and technology. Maintain continuing education (CE) requirements to enhance performance and knowledge.
- Audit and Billing Support: Review client audits, facilitate necessary corrections, and assist with accounts receivable and billing as needed.
- A state-required insurance license with a minimum of two years' experience in personal and commercial insurance account management, or equivalent work experience (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, underwriting, coverages, and industry operations.
- Proven success in business-to-business (B2B) sales, with strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills, able to build new relationships and maintain existing ones.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and decision-making abilities, with superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with technology, including agency management systems, and ability to work well in a team environment.
