As a Staff Attorney, you will be responsible for providing pro-bono legal representation to unaccompanied minors, including giving Know Your Rights Presentations, Legal Determination, and filing for immigration relief with Immigration Court, USCIS, and state court.

MNM Law Offices is a private law firm that provides pro-bono legal representation to unaccompanied minors. We are a mission-driven team that is committed to providing high-quality legal services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pro-bono legal representation to unaccompanied minors, including giving Know Your Rights Presentations, Legal Determination, and filing for immigration relief with Immigration Court, USCIS, and state court.
- Assist clients with their immigration cases, including preparing and filing documents, and representing them in court.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and high-quality legal services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and other stakeholders to ensure that clients receive the support and resources they need.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration law and policy, and adapt our services accordingly.
Requirements:
- J.D. and active membership in California State Bar or awaiting bar results.
- Experience in the legal setting, preferably in immigration law.
- Experience assisting immigrant and vulnerable clients.
- Experience appearing in immigration court preferred.
- Excellent legal writing, speaking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.
- Availability and willingness to regularly travel within the counties.
