Position Summary: Responsible for performing maintenance and custodial tasks:

  1. Maintain cleanliness in offices and common areas, including mopping, sweeping, buffing, and waxing floors, as well as cleaning sinks, toilets, countertops, walls, and windows.
  2. Conduct minor repairs such as fixing locks and patching walls.
  3. Inspect control panels and electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  4. Install various appliances and equipment as needed.
  5. Carry out maintenance activities like changing light bulbs, snow removal, litter collection, and stocking supplies.
  6. Examine and perform minor repairs on equipment, furniture, and facilities.
  7. Assess and troubleshoot systems and equipment, including ventilation.
  8. Verify the functionality of safety systems, such as fire alarms.
  9. Execute additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. A valid driver's license is required for those operating company vehicles, and proof of insurance is necessary for personal vehicle use during business activities.

Physical Demands:

  1. Ability to operate a personal vehicle safely and adhere to the agency's vehicle safety protocols.
  2. Balancing: Ability to maintain equilibrium to prevent falls on narrow or slippery surfaces.
  3. Stooping: Capability to bend forward and down for extended periods.
  4. Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
  5. Pushing: Ability to exert force up to 35 lbs to move objects.
  6. Reaching: Extending arms and hands in various directions.
  7. Standing: Capacity to maintain an upright position for prolonged durations.

Work Schedule: In-person attendance is required on designated days for a total of 15 hours per week.
