Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated professional with an inclusive approach to take on the role of Retail Operations Supervisor.
As a natural leader, you will inspire and engage the sales team to deliver the exceptional customer service that defines our brand.
You will be attuned to the dynamics of the sales floor, focusing on creating a cohesive atmosphere and a positive environment in the store.
In this role, you will take ownership of customer resolutions, empowered to make swift decisions that cater to customer needs and concerns.
As a mentor and coach, you will devise innovative strategies to motivate your team, helping them achieve sales targets and excel in their performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to oversee and allocate tasks, ensuring the execution of strategic plans throughout the store.
- Partner with the Store Manager to set and communicate essential metrics and expectations, including sales, visual presentation, operations, safety, loss prevention, human resources, payroll/scheduling, and training.
- Coach and develop all store associates, fostering professional growth and building a strong talent pipeline.
Sales Focus:
- Drive sales initiatives relevant to your role while acting as the Manager on Duty (MOD).
- Work alongside the Store Manager and other Assistant Store Managers during seasonal planning and execution.
Results Orientation:
- Analyze performance data to translate insights into actionable strategies for improving key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all customers receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
- Model exemplary service by maintaining a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards the job and the company in all communications.
Communication and Teamwork:
- Maintain regular communication with the management team regarding sales performance, customer feedback, and associate training.
- Participate in weekly store assessments with the management team and follow up as necessary.
- Stay informed about store initiatives and share relevant updates with associates.
Qualifications:
- A keen sense of personal style with a passion for design and home furnishings.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or retail leadership.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to delegate effectively to drive results and execution.
- A track record of cultivating a culture centered on success and teamwork.
Availability:
- Full-Time roles require open availability for flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Part-Time roles require availability for two or more weekend days and at least one weekday or evening.
Compensation:
- Starting hourly rate ranges from $28.00 to $35.00, with adjustments made as necessary to comply with applicable laws. Additional compensation may include bonuses, sales incentives, and long-term incentives based on your role.
