Position Overview:
The Machine Operator Assistant plays a crucial role in overseeing machine functionality and transition processes to uphold superior quality standards. This position demands a commitment to safety, efficiency, and accuracy to enhance the overall performance of the facility, focusing on Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR), and prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
  2. Safely and effectively operate and maintain the designated machinery and associated equipment to fulfill daily production targets.
  3. Conduct safety observations as assigned.
  4. Interpret and follow standard operating procedures for the assigned machinery.
  5. Comply with all established work processes.
  6. Ensure the correct components are available at the workstation prior to commencing tasks.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Capable of executing the essential functions of this role.
  9. Operate vertical bar machinery for the production of electrical connectors.
  10. Perform quality inspections of components using measuring tools such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
  11. Package completed components for distribution.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in reading blueprints is essential.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior machine operation experience.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in using gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Able to stand, lift, and bend for 8-10 hours daily.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
