Here is what you can expect as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with us:

  • You will conduct technical quality testing for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients in the laboratory environment, adhering to CAP, JCAHO, OSHA, AABB, FDA, and CLIA standards.
  • Your comprehensive understanding and application of the MT practice are crucial due to the demanding nature of critical patient testing. Therefore, you must consistently strive to enhance clinical testing through both formal and informal education.
  • You will maintain knowledge of all procedures and protocols.
  • You will perform necessary quality control and function verification of equipment.

Qualifications required for this role:

  • ASCP or AMT certification is required within 6 months of hire, with ASCP being the preferred certification. Continued employment will depend on valid certification.
  • An associate degree in a related science is required; a bachelor's degree in a related science is preferred.
  • A college graduate or equivalent who has passed a certification examination for Medical Technologist by ASCP or AMT or has completed an accredited MLT program with ASCP Board Certification is also acceptable.
  • Experience in a hospital laboratory is preferred but not mandatory.
