Role Summary: The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering technical assistance to users through various communication channels, including phone and chat. This role requires a proactive approach to learning new technologies and performing administrative duties related to time management and miscellaneous tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive IT support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business to effectively relate technical problems to their business impacts.
- Prioritize and triage incoming issues, escalating them to management when necessary.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of supported systems and engage in continuous learning through training and participation in improvement initiatives.
- Respond to alerts or emergency issues promptly during business hours and while on-call.
- Manage requests and orders for computer equipment throughout its lifecycle.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
Experience in help desk operations, service desk environments, Office 365, phone support, Active Directory, Citrix, and Windows 10.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in IT support desk roles, particularly in high-volume environments.
- Proficiency in using Active Directory, ServiceNow, and Citrix for remote troubleshooting.
- Experience resolving issues related to Windows 10, Office Suite, O365, and hardware peripherals.
Work Environment: This role will involve high call volumes and remote training sessions conducted via video conferencing tools.
