We are a leader in the fashion industry, operating a strong portfolio of well-known brands. Our brands cover various categories, such as fashion watches & jewelry, tech wearables, footwear, handbags & small leather goods, cold weather and fashion accessories, beauty & personal care.

We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join our finance team, who will focus on managing product costs, assessing profitability, tracking expenses, analyzing variances, and improving financial efficiency across our product lines.

Job Requirements
  • Main Duties:
  • Calculate and maintain accurate product costs, including materials, labor, and overhead allocations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and detailed data reports to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct product profitability analyses to support pricing strategies and evaluate new product launches.
  • Monitor cost trends and variances, investigating discrepancies and providing explanations to management as needed.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: 24 years of experience in cost accounting, general accounting, or similar roles. Ideally within the manufacturing or beauty industry.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (Sage, Infor, etc.), Excel, and familiarity with costing methodologies.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

The salary for this role is $55k - $80k per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
