Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations, in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assist patients and transport them as needed.
  • Enter data, file work, and restock supplies and cleaning equipment.
  • Participate in quality assurance functions and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a related field, with a focus on cardiac sonography.
  • A minimum of two years of education in a related field, with a focus on cardiac sonography.
  • Registration as a Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers within 12 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification within one month of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
