We are in search of a Senior Project Manager to enhance our expanding team in our Toledo, OH office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare proposals, including project budgets, timelines, and contracts.
  • Assist practice leaders with forecasting project revenues.
  • Lead design teams for municipal and industrial projects.
  • Oversee the preparation of contract documents, including technical specifications and construction drawings.
  • Supervise the development of detailed studies and reports, managing all phases of the design process.
  • Ensure quality control and conduct peer reviews of work products.
  • Identify, develop, and secure project opportunities, focusing on Northwest Ohio and Southern Michigan.
  • Collaborate with Area Leaders, Department Leaders, project managers, marketing, and finance to connect Verdantas' services to significant existing or potential clients.
  • Work with Area Leaders and Operations to establish major strategies and tactics for the region.
  • Foster meaningful dialogue with clients in the area, expanding those relationships throughout Verdantas.
  • Mentor and lead staff within the group, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, stakeholders, engineers, and contractors.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational skills and professional written and oral communication.
  • Take accountability for commitments while maintaining quality and adhering to budgets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of relevant experience, including design, analyses, and studies.
  • Familiarity with civil plans and the relationships among sheet types within a plan set.
  • Professional Engineer license preferred.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Successful experience in managing teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Established relationships with municipal and/or industrial clients preferred.
  • Strong understanding of local markets, trends, and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of project funding agencies and requirements preferred.
