Position Overview

As a key member of the Global Technology & Investment team, the Senior Engineering Project Coordinator will focus on capital projects, ensuring they are executed with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead and participate in capital initiatives, ensuring clear definitions and accurate management for timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Scope Development: Formulate project objectives, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and developments.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial integrity.
  • Engineering Oversight: Conduct mechanical and process engineering tasks, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Organize and allocate resources effectively, optimizing project efficiency.
  • Safety Culture: Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement, leading by example.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and site regulations.
  • Professional Development: Support the growth and development of the team and contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Instrumentation & Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the chemical sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
  • Effective communication skills across various platforms.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Work Environment

This role requires a blend of indoor and outdoor work, with exposure to various environmental conditions typical of a manufacturing setting.

Physical Requirements

The position necessitates the ability to perform various physical tasks, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating diverse workspaces.
