Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Technologist to join our team at UMass Dartmouth. The successful candidate will provide technical support and training to faculty, staff, and students in the use of University-supported instructional technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of instructional technologies to enhance teaching and learning
  • Provide technical assistance and training to faculty, staff, and students on the use of instructional technologies
  • Collaborate with the Instructional Development team to assess and test new technologies and emerging trends in higher education
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and support materials for instructional technologies
  • Conduct training and workshops on the use of instructional technologies for faculty and staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Demonstrated experience supporting classroom-based and/or online instructional technologies
  • Previous experience working in a case management system
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology related field
  • Significant experience working with classroom-based and/or online instructional technologies
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift and move technology equipment. Some travel may be required.
