We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Medical City North Hills. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, including explaining the procedure and positioning the patient.
- Conduct ultrasound examinations, taking note of any abnormalities or unusual findings.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and follow-up instructions.
Requirements
- Registered by R.D.M.S. in Abdomen or Ob/Gyn within 6 months of hire, promotion or completion of training program.
- Registered by R.D.M.S (RVT) or (RVS) by C.C.I. within 6 months of hire, promotion or completion of training program.
- BLS from HCA approved vendor required.
