Job Title: CT / X-Ray Tech

Core Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in North Adams, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT and X-Ray scans, requiring initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.
  • May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or NARH Facility Director.
  • Proper care of the client in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
  • May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel or as determined by Manager or Director.
  • Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and Tiger Text format required.
  • Practices infection control in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.
  • Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR, CT, and PACs applications.
  • Completes annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.
  • Maintains department competencies as required.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 specific interview dates/times of availability for interview must be added to profile.
  • Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload.
  • Traveler must be willing to work two of the following: Thanksgiving and weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after.

Core Staffing Job ID #147898. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 8 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
