Overview:

The Infrastructure Engineer II role focuses on our Windows/Messaging/O365 environments, collaborating regularly with vendors, project managers, system administrators, database administrators, application developers, and end users to enhance and sustain the efficiency of our servers, databases, and applications. This position is responsible for supporting the deployment, troubleshooting, and upkeep of IT systems and solutions within their designated area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with systems users and Software Engineering across the organization to identify IT enhancements and troubleshoot solutions.
  • Act as a liaison for Software Engineering on supported products.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with vendors and product stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to implement product enhancement strategies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to streamline processes for frontline staff and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide backup support to the Helpdesk team.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of systems support experience, including 3-5 years with Azure and at least 2 years with Linux servers, Windows servers, or Active Directory.
  • Proficient in configuring Ubuntu and experience with IIS.
  • Skilled in managing databases such as DB Technologies, MS SQL, or MySQL.
  • 2-4 years of experience in automation using a scripting language.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a senior member of a technical team.
