Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose and treat clients with psychiatric and co-occurring disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in professional staff conferences to discuss psychological assessment methods, techniques, and results
- Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, educational psychology, education with the field of specialization in counseling psychology, or in a discipline deemed equivalent by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Psychology
- License to practice as a psychologist in the State of California
- Experience in performing psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and individual, group, and family therapy
- Postdoctoral degree experience in performing psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and individual, group, and family therapy
- Experience working in outpatient services, juvenile justice, justice-related court services, or specialized foster care services
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
