The Tennessee Board of Regents seeks a skilled Access Services Coordinator to lead the College's disabilities services program for students. This role involves assessing student needs, identifying and organizing instructional and technology supports, and coordinating with the Testing Center to ensure approved testing accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the College's liaison and informational representative for students with disabilities, assessing individual needs through evaluation reports, interviews, and professional acumen.
  • Determine appropriate reasonable accommodations for students, coordinating with faculty and staff as needed.
  • Process student accommodations and communicate with students and faculty using AIM (Accessible Information Management) system.
  • Prepare and conduct faculty/staff workshops on accommodations for students with disabilities.
  • Network with service providers to identify suitable supports for students.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in education, special education, counseling, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, social work, or a related field, along with at least one year of experience working with students with emotional, physical, and learning disabilities. Experience with case management, reviewing and interpreting medical documentation, and applying ADA guidelines is also highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary range of $43,453.00 - $54,316.00 annually, depending on experience, as well as flexible work arrangements for positions that qualify.
