As an Aircraft Instrument Calibration Specialist, your responsibilities will include testing, analyzing, repairing, and calibrating gyroscopes and various aircraft instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:
  • Test, analyze, repair, and calibrate aircraft instruments.
  • Solder terminals as required.
  • Perform laser and/or solder sealing of instruments.
  • Operate in a clean-room environment.
  • Utilize various tools including hand tools, tweezers, jeweler's screwdrivers, microscopes, micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, laser sealers, oscilloscopes, hi-pots, digital multimeters, wave analyzers, phase angle voltmeters, and angle position indicators.
Essential Qualifications

Additionally, you will:
  • Work under microscopes for extended periods.
  • Use soldering irons for certified soldering tasks.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Ability to interpret and work from blueprints.
  • Basic computer proficiency, particularly in Windows.
  • Fundamental electronic and mechanical experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) and strong manual dexterity.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must successfully complete a written assessment and demonstrate on-the-job proficiency to achieve quality certification in soldering and in all testing, analysis, repair, and calibration functions of the role.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the repair and calibration of electrical and/or aircraft instruments is necessary.

Employees in this classification assigned to Customer Service may be subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with applicable regulations.
