The Sterilization Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety in our dental facilities. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure that all dental instruments are properly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect dental instruments and equipment
  • Operate autoclaves and maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles
  • Dispose of contaminated or bio-hazardous waste and materials properly
  • Assist patient registration specialists with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, checking in and out patients, and scheduling appointments
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior dental experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures is essential
