Job Overview:
This position requires expertise in the refurbishment and maintenance of hydraulic systems used in aircraft propeller assemblies. Responsibilities include assessment, disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and testing of components according to established manuals, service bulletins, and directives, along with additional standard operational duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble and inspect propeller component assemblies with precision.
- Utilize manual machining tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments (such as micrometers, indicators, and calipers), along with hydraulic presses and plastic media blasting equipment.
- Oversee the operation and perform light maintenance on hydraulic testing apparatus.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Possession of an Airframe and Powerplant license.
- Understanding of FAA regulations and compliance standards.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in aerospace maintenance, including military aircraft maintenance and propeller system experience.
