Job Summary:

Rylem Staffing is seeking a highly skilled NDT Technician Level II to join our team as a Propeller Systems Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing methods, interpreting results, and maintaining production equipment to ensure airworthiness of Allison and Hamilton Standard aircraft propeller systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and Test Propeller Systems: Perform Magna Flux (MT), Eddy Current (ET), Penetrant Test (PT), and Ultrasonic (UT) inspections to ensure compliance with safety and specification requirements.
  • Interpret Results and Apply Acceptance Criteria: Analyze inspection results and apply acceptance criteria identified on drawings or shop work orders to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
  • Document and Organize Inspection Results: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, including documentation and organization of inspection data.
  • Interface with Engineers: Communicate inspection results and findings to engineers to ensure seamless collaboration and decision-making.
  • Maintain Production Equipment: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly process control checks to ensure production equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School graduate with NDT Level II Certification in at least 2 methods.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in aerospace-related fields, including military aircraft maintenance and propeller maintenance.
  • Certifications: Magna Flux (MT), Penetrant (PT), Eddy Current (ET), Ultrasonic (UT), Straight Beam Certification.
