We are seeking an experienced MySQL Database Administrator to join our team at PRI Technology. As a key member of our database team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance MySQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance MySQL databases
  • Develop and maintain database schema, stored procedures, and functions
  • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Implement data backup and recovery procedures
  • Monitor and analyze database performance metrics
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience with MySQL database administration
  • Experience with MySQL replication, SQL coding, and tuning
  • Shell scripting and automation experience
  • Experience with MySQL Enterprise Manager and AWS/Cloud Services
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with DB2 UDB, Oracle, Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and/or Cassandra
  • Experience with configuration management tools: SCCM, Puppet, or Ansible
  • Development or enhancement of training and upskilling programs
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $90.00 or $100.00 on a Corp basis
  • Hybrid work schedule with 2 days in the Bethlehem, PA office and 3 days remote
