We are seeking a dedicated Employee Benefits Sales Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives.

This role is integral to our long-term strategy for expanding our Employee Benefits offerings. The selected candidate will be responsible for cultivating and overseeing a designated geographic area. This position requires establishing significant business relationships with brokers and other influential partners to enhance the distribution of our Employee Benefit products and services.

Your primary focus will be on driving and managing sales activities in the eastern OH and Pittsburgh, PA regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and nurturing Key Broker Relationships
  • Enhancing the American United Life brand – ensuring a strong, visible presence in the assigned territory
  • Creating a robust sales pipeline
  • Closing Employee Benefit transactions
  • Identifying new opportunities and guiding them from prospect to closure
  • Meeting activity and revenue targets as assigned
  • Assisting the Regional Vice President in developing and executing the marketing strategy for the region, while adhering to budget constraints
  • Conducting sales and product seminars as required
  • Managing the assigned territory to achieve net quote activity levels that align with sales objectives
  • Utilizing market data effectively to enhance market presence and boost sales performance
  • Formulating a plan to meet case activity targets in line with our core strategy

Qualifications:

  • Established relationships with brokers and experience in Long-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, and Group Life Insurance
  • Proven ability to produce results within the assigned territory
  • Exceptional skills in developing and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
  • Advanced capability to create strategies and business plans and successfully execute on established objectives
  • Excellent presentation and consultative selling abilities
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage with targeted prospects
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Life and Health insurance license
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Employee Benefits Sales

This position allows for remote work within designated states, with occasional requirements to return to the office as business needs arise.
