Job Summary:

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity for a Help Desk Support Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Help Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, assisting in the delivery of Information Technology services, and resolving technical problems on a limited basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier I and II support for operating systems, software, hardware, smartphones, printers, and other IT equipment that enables associates to conduct their day-to-day activities.
• Identify, research, and resolve technical problems on a limited basis.
• Develop a strong understanding of the business and relate problems to the business impact.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience supporting a service desk or business department.
• Strong understanding of active directory, windows 10, hardware troubleshooting, mac, printer support, ticket resolution, office 365, password reset, troubleshooting, connectivity software, remote support, and Help desk support.
• Certificates such as A+ Network+ Security+ are a plus.
• PowerShell experience is a nice to have, with the ability to execute basic automation and pull reports from AD PowerShell.
• WebEx experience is also a nice to have.
