Hunting Sales Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Hunting Sales Associate to join our team at Sportsman's Warehouse. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth in our Hunting Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that each customer receives a personalized and memorable experience.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our hunting products, including firearms, ammunition, and outdoor gear.
  • Approach each customer interaction using the 5 non-negotiable Friedman Sales Training Steps.
  • Ensure the Hunting Department is clean, faced, and straight at all times, maintaining a high level of visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise, monitoring floor stock, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Review and ensure accuracy on the customer portion of form 4473, maintaining strict adherence to ATF standards.
  • Communicate customer requests to management, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Perform other tasks as necessary and assigned by management, which may include assisting in other departments.
Requirements:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with customers and colleagues.
  • A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma is recommended, with sales training provided by Sportsman's Warehouse.
  • Physical stamina to perform a variety of tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive motions.
