We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Social Worker to join our team at Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center. The qualified candidate will provide assessment, psychotherapy, and group therapy to adults ages 18+ in individual and group settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full services to an assigned caseload, including individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy, case recording, management, and re-hospitalization.
  • Implement and be responsible for the treatment planning needs of assigned client caseload.
  • Make and implement client disciplinary recommendations, as needed.
  • Provide on-call coverage for emergency consultation and intervention outside of regular work hours.
  • Participate in the assigned program, treatment planning, and in-service training meetings as scheduled.
  • Productively participate in weekly individual and group supervision.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences or related area from an accredited university.
  • Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance.
  • Valid California Driver's license.
  • TB clearance.
  • Driving record acceptable for coverage by Gateways insurance carrier.
  • Fire and Safety Training.
  • First Aid Training Certification.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Training (CPI).
