Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with business banking clients in assigned business segments and geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with business banking clients to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Actively engage in the sales process to ensure attainment of regional and individual goals and objectives.
  • Presents a variety of product solutions to client needs and provides responsive quality service.
  • Approves transactions within delegated authority and manages overall relationship profitability and portfolio risk.
  • Responsible for profitable growth of the portfolio assigned and monitors and analyzes relationship results and account activities.
  • Determines client profitability and makes recommendations regarding accounts to be further developed or eliminated.
  • Prepares reports for management and monitors portfolio for quality, risk, and adherence to policy.
  • Works with the appropriate staff departments to resolve issues and maintains awareness of competitive products, practices, rates, and changes in market conditions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience required.
  • Minimum 8 years of commercial lending experience within the segment required.
  • Minimum 5 years of credit experience required.
  • Skills and knowledge of Bank operations, policies, and procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred to be in good standing under the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (Safe Act) and be registered/licensed with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS).
Compensation

Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
