Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Banking professional to join our team at Seacoast Bank. As a Commercial Banker III, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies to acquire new commercial business within our market area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, and expand our market share.
  • Loan and Deposit Growth: Meet and exceed deposit and loan growth objectives, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a complex portfolio of business and consumer loans, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other bank groups, including Treasury Management, Wealth Management, and Consumer Banking, to achieve mutual goals and better serve customers.
  • Risk Management: Apply a high level of business acumen and risk management expertise to assess the viability of loan and deposit opportunities.
  • Communication: Prepare and articulate accurate, comprehensive, relevant information to the Loan Committee for loan approval, and ensure effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: 4-year college degree, BA in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related major, or 6 years of comparable experience.
  • Experience: Ten or more years of proven success in Commercial Banking, with a demonstrated record of relationship building with business, civic, and governmental organizations.
  • Skills: Ability to analyze markets, identify prospects, develop, and execute consultative, value-added sales techniques and strategies, and meet and exceed established targets.
