Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational activities, programs, and projects that address identified knowledge and practice gaps in nursing professionals.
  • Analyze data and trends to determine learning needs and validate evidence of professional practice gaps and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and resources to plan and implement lifelong learning activities for individuals and groups of learners.
  • Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices and develop measurement tools for quality improvement activities.
  • Participate in professional role development, practice role transitions, and succession planning, and collaborate with community education programs to facilitate effective allied health and nursing education programs.
  • Serve as a leader in inter-professional learning, professional growth, and practice change throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (BSN applicants considered for Generalist title)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Five years of relevant education experience preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan
  • Board Certified Nursing Professional Development (BC-NPD) - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • At least one Certification from preferred list
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross
Work Environment

This position will be based at our Dearborn Hospital location and will work a standard 40-hour workweek with a day shift schedule.
