Job Summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment, including slotter machines, conveyors, pulp machines, and CNC machines. You will also be responsible for performing checks and balances on machines to ensure the proper functioning of the wiring system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, including slotter machines, conveyors, pulp machines, and CNC machines.
  • Perform checks and balances on machines to ensure the proper functioning of the wiring system.
  • Respond to verbal or written instructions for safety and security calls regarding machinery.
  • Plan and layout work from blueprints, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer's specifications, and other specifications.
  • Disassemble equipment using hand tools and power tools as required.
  • Inspect damaged parts, determine the nature of repair, and use repair tools to rework or refinish worn or damaged parts.
  • Install special functional and structural parts and equipment.
  • Reassemble equipment and test performance as needed.
  • Set up new machines to the wiring system as needed.
  • Record written recommendations on repair work needed.

Requirements

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). The position is for the 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm. The work environment is very clean and safety-oriented, with a manufacturing setting that can get loud. The company operates at its corporate location with 380 employees.
