Job Summary:

The Building Automation Technician I will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and economical operation of building automation systems. This position will execute technical service of all building control systems, ensuring optimal system operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building automation systems and components in both critical and non-critical environments.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex building control systems and components.
  • Review building control programs to ensure proper operation, functionality, and efficiency of building systems.
  • Participate in job site review and final completion for systems turnover.

Requirements:

  • Technical School or equivalent.
  • 4 years of experience in building automation industry, engineering, and programming background.
  • Excellent understanding of HVAC or other building or electronic control systems.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Integration experience with BACNET, MODBUS, etc.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers desired.
