Job Summary:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse II at Kaiser Permanente's Anaheim Kraemer Medical Office, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. Your primary responsibilities will include performing patient care functions, assisting medical personnel with procedures, and monitoring patient flow. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and supplies, identifying and arranging for equipment needing repair, and applying principles of aseptic technique and infection control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care functions, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Assist medical personnel with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams.
  • Monitor patient flow and assign/direct other ancillary personnel as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, including identifying and arranging for equipment needing repair.
  • Apply principles of aseptic technique and infection control.
Requirements:
  • One (1) year of recent (within the last three (3) years) experience as a LVN in an acute/outpatient setting.
  • Vocational Nurse License (California).
Work Environment:

This is an on-call position, and days and hours will vary. You will work variable hours based on operational need and will work in Anaheim, Lakeview, Irvine based on operational need.
