Essential Functions:

  • Balance night audit reports, count cashier/server deposits, and make bank deposits
  • Research charge backs, maintain ATM machine, and maintain credit card account sheets
  • Prepare and distribute daily and monthly reports, summarize miscellaneous adjustments and income, and prepare end of month food and beverage inventories
  • Verify and expense petty cash purchases, maintain and audit front desk posting master, and prepare semi-monthly spreadsheets

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years hotel accounting experience
  • Knowledge of general accounting skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and strong computer skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, maintain a professional appearance, and communicate effectively
  • Capable of working well under pressure, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
