Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team as a Direct Support Professional. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Community Support: Assist individuals with transportation to community outings, medical appointments, and shopping.
  • Daily Living Skills: Assist with meal preparation, medication administration, and daily living skills such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
  • Developmental Goals: Provide guidance and support to individuals in achieving their developmental goals, including community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Age: Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Experience: Six months of experience in human services preferred
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Background Checks: Successful clearance of background checks
