Job Title: HR Director

At World Kinect, we are seeking an experienced HR Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving organizational effectiveness, leadership excellence, and the development of a diverse, engaged, and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and execution of the People/HR strategy for the assigned organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work in close partnership with the assigned organization's leaders to understand the business and its future dynamics in order to anticipate the respective People/HR needs.
  • Direct projects related to organizational structuring, performance management, talent development, employee engagement and retention, and talent development for the assigned organization.
  • Ensure business-HR alignment and follow through until full completion.
  • Lead the implementation of People/HR initiatives that support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Strategically partner with the HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) on talent-related offerings and initiatives; including but not limited to compensation, benefits, talent acquisition and management.
  • Ensure alignment in the execution of People/HR initiatives and activities across the different geographies and organizations.
  • Partner with peer HR roles to ensure harmonized execution of key initiatives.
  • Orchestrate all relevant People/HR offerings to fulfill the assigned organization's needs and support them in performing towards the achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with global, country/federal and state employment laws and regulations across all areas of operation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR Business Partner experience, in corporate, multi-country, past-paced environments.
  • Experience working with Unios is required.
  • Proven success in delivering high-impact People/HR initiatives that involve change management and/or alignment of multi-disciplinary stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Proven success in managing wide-scope HR projects, targeted to have an impact over the full or broad spectrum of the customer population.
