HR Director Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned HR Director to lead our Human Resources function at EVONA. This role involves strategic leadership and delivery of objectives in talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee experience, change management, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies.
  • Oversee the administration of HR programs, including compensation, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies that drive business results.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough investigations and provide guidance on restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Manage paperwork for new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and roll out new HR practices, ensuring alignment with EVONA's goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of HR experience, preferably within aerospace and/or government & defense sectors.
  • Knowledge of DoD / federal government contracting, FAR, DFAR, and contracts regarding employment requirements.
  • Experience in resolving complex employee relations issues and working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADP, preferred.
