Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated **Hospitality Expert** to join our team at Jobs for Humanity. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and accommodate the needs of guests, ensuring a personalized experience.
  • Serve guests quickly and efficiently, with complete knowledge of our menu offerings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift.
Essential Skills
  • Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
  • Correctly and precisely calculate each guest check.
  • Properly identify guests who are able to consume alcoholic beverages.
  • Ring guest orders through the point-of-sale system accurately.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with a spirit of teamwork.
  • Communicate needs and ideas to management effectively.
  • Be knowledgeable in the menu of food and beverage offerings.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
  • Suggestively sell and upsell to guests.
  • Perform sidework as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize work assignments.
  • Weekend availability, with a flexible schedule based on business demands.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to foster an environment where teamwork is valued and practiced.
  • Self-motivated, with a high standard for organization and customer service.
Work Environment
  • Ambient room temperatures, lighting, and traditional restaurant equipment.
Qualifications
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Ability to provide high-quality communication and be technologically sound with our point-of-sale system.
  • Prioritize and organize work assignments, with timely follow-up and execution.
  • Superb time management skills, effective communication with customers and team.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of our company culture and initiatives.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel services and features.
