Job Title: Ace Bartender

Job Summary:

The Ace Bartender is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a skilled bartender, you'll be the face of our hotel, crafting memorable moments for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, acknowledge their needs, and provide personalized service.
  2. Cash Handling: Accurately calculate guest checks, manage cash transactions, and maintain a secure environment.
  3. Alcohol Service: Properly identify guests who can consume alcohol, ensure responsible serving practices, and maintain a safe and respectful atmosphere.
  4. Order Management: Ring guest orders through our POS system, maintain accurate records, and ensure seamless service.
  5. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively, and contribute to a positive team dynamic.
  6. Menu Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our food and beverage menu, making recommendations and suggestions to enhance the guest experience.
  7. Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  8. Sales and Upselling: Suggestively sell and upsell menu items, driving revenue growth and enhancing guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  1. Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with guests, management, and colleagues, ensuring seamless service and resolving issues promptly.
  2. Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, and adapt to changing business demands.
  3. Time Management: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  4. Teamwork: Foster a positive team environment, promoting collaboration and open communication.
  5. Problem-Solving: Approach problems with a solutions-based perspective, using common sense and good judgment.
Work Environment:

This role requires standing, walking, and continuous performance of essential job functions for extended periods. You'll work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, interacting with guests and colleagues in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications:
  1. Communication Skills: Satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and colleagues.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficient in using MICROS and other technology to manage orders and guest interactions.
  3. Time Management: Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity.
  4. Mathematical Skills: Accurately calculate guest checks and manage cash transactions.
  5. Culture and Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of Atelier and Ace Hotel's culture, initiatives, and services.
Education and Experience:

This role requires relevant experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in customer service and food and beverage roles. A strong understanding of service and quality-centric environments is preferred.

Language and Mathematical Skills:
  1. Communication Skills: Satisfactorily communicate English with guests, management, and colleagues.
  2. Additional Language: Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  3. Mathematical Skills: Accurately calculate guest checks and manage cash transactions.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
  1. Food Handler's Card: Possess a valid Riverside County Food Handler's card.
  2. Education: College and computer training are preferred.
