Job Overview

As a key member of the JACKMONT HOSPITALITY INC team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service
    • ID all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
    • Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the bar area.
  • Beverage Preparation
    • Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Upsell guests on food or drink items where appropriate.
  • Food and Beverage Coordination
    • Coordinate food orders from guests seated in the bar area with the kitchen.
  • Menu Knowledge and Recommendations
    • Learn the menu and make recommendations to guests when appropriate.
  • Bar Maintenance
    • Keep the bar area clean and organized.
  • Point of Sale Operations
    • Accurately ring up all orders in the POS system.
Requirements
  • Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times.
  • Must be able to operate the P.O.S. system, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions.
  • Must be able to calmly respond to angry guests and notify a manager.
  • Must be able to pass bar validation.
  • Must be able to respond clearly to guests' requests.
  • Must be able to hear well in a loud environment.
  • Must be able to frequently lift 30 lb. cases and carry short distances, up or down stairs.
