Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative II to join our team at Tidelands Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for registering patients, handling first call resolution, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients and obtain accurate demographic, financial, and medical information
  • Handle first call resolution for assigned departments and transfer calls as necessary
  • Pre-register patients for procedures and coordinate multiple resources for patient services
  • Assist with making referrals, prior authorization, and payment collections
  • Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming patient experience
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of related customer-facing experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Ability to interact successfully with the public and perform effectively in high-stress situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with patients, families, and clinical staff
