Your role will be vital in supporting the organization's ongoing success and development.


As a Safety and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the assigned municipal entities within your specified region.

Your contributions will be crucial in educating these entities to reduce claim frequency and severity, assessing and auditing work environments, analyzing workers' compensation claim data, and assisting with training and documentation while creating and executing effective procedures.


Hours and Benefits for the Safety and Compliance Specialist:
Monday – Friday, 35-hour work week
Salary range: $75,000 - $80,000
Comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities of the Safety and Compliance Specialist:
You will facilitate training sessions to enhance awareness of proper safety and ergonomic practices.
You will perform internal audits and inspections to identify potential safety hazards.
You will analyze data to help identify or reduce OSHA recordable incidents.
Stay updated on OSHA compliance regulations.

Requirements for the Safety and Compliance Specialist:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience in conducting audits and inspections to support and educate on safety and ergonomic practices.
Experience in delivering safety and ergonomic training.
Familiarity with workers' compensation or similar insurance is preferred.
Must be willing to travel within the designated territory and possess a valid driver's license.
