Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Operations Nurse to join our team at Summit Foot and Ankle. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in facilitating our day-to-day operations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview Patients: Conduct thorough interviews with patients to gather medical history and update their records.
  • Take Vital Signs: Accurately gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse.
  • Prepare Treatment Rooms: Ensure treatment rooms are prepared and ready for exams, including sterilizing instruments and setting up procedure trays.
  • Manage Medical Supplies: Effectively manage medical supplies and materials, working closely with our operational leader to order necessary inventory.
  • Assist with In-Office Procedures: Provide support during in-office procedures, including taking x-rays and performing administrative tasks.
  • Support the Physician: Assist the physician and team with patient care activities, prioritizing tasks and organizing workflows to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; higher or continuing education a plus.
  • Licensure: NYS Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment; excellent communication and customer service skills; solid work ethic; self-directed and willing to take initiative; team-oriented and willing to roll up sleeves and pitch in with staff and doctors to solve problems.
