Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care to our members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members regarding health care and prescription medication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring timely and efficient service to our members.
  • Administer immunizations and provide education to members on the importance of vaccination.
  • Counsel members on health care and prescription medication needs, providing personalized guidance and support.
  • Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Model and enforce proper member service approaches and techniques, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations, analyzing and interpreting reports, and implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
