- Assist in the minor relocation of boxes, furniture, and filing cabinets as needed.
- Collaborate with requestors to establish move timelines.
- Conduct assessments of furniture and equipment to determine relocation or disposal needs.
- Ensure organization within the warehouse and manage incoming and outgoing materials.
- Create and manage work orders to streamline moving tasks.
- Utilize hand and power tools for the installation and disassembly of furniture.
- Coordinate with vendors and team members for the delivery of items.
- Operate a vehicle to fulfill scheduled and on-demand moving requirements.
- Load and unload trucks with furniture and supplies as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and report any issues to supervisors.
- Support team members in various moving tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
- Capable of using measuring tools and understanding dimensions.
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and construction drawings.
- Physical capability to walk, stand, and reach with hands and arms.
